Baghdad: The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, chaired a crucial conference at the Ground Forces Command, focusing on the roles and responsibilities of media officers from different commands and divisions. Notably present at the meeting were the Commander of the Ground Forces, the Director of the Media and Moral Guidance Directorate, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, and media directors from various branches, operations, and divisions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference delved into the current state of media operations within the Iraqi Army’s formations. It explored mechanisms to enhance media performance and improve the level of media coverage and output. The objective is to portray the professional and honorable image of the armed forces and align with the nature of the tasks and duties undertaken by its formations.
The Chief of Staff underscored the importance of a unified media narrative and enhanced coordination between the Directorate of Media and Moral Guidance and the media departments in commands and divisions. He also highlighted the necessity for timely and accurate information dissemination. Additionally, the conference emphasized showcasing the efforts and achievements of military units and formations across all branches.
