Hillah: A six-year-old girl was killed due to abuse at the hands of her father and his wife in the Al-Shomali district, south of Hillah, the capital of Babil Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar Al-Shammari, stated that the police received a report about the death of the young girl as a result of abuse by her father and his wife. He further mentioned that the police have taken action by transferring the body to the forensic medicine department. An investigation into the incident has been initiated, and the father and his wife have been arrested.
