Baghdad: The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority has announced a temporary and precautionary closure of the country’s airspace to all incoming, departing, and transiting aircraft for a duration of two hours. The authority plans to reassess the situation and review the decision based on ongoing developments.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority released a statement explaining that the measure is in response to increasing regional tensions.
