Accra:Maysan An informed source has announced that the decision to close the Al-Shib border crossing between Iraq and Iran has come into effect.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a government source revealed the closure of the Al-Shib border crossing with Iran, which is located in Maysan Governorate. The announcement was made without specifying the reasons for this action.

The source further explained that the Al-Shib crossing will be closed to the movement of both individuals and goods. This closure is effective starting Wednesday and will remain in place until further notice.
