Baghdad: The Electoral Commission received a judicial complaint today to exclude a candidate named “Talal Hariri” from the upcoming 2025 elections and to take legal action against him for supporting normalization with the usurping Zionist entity. In addition to the complaint, there was an appeal to exclude Hariri from the elections on similar grounds.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commission received another judicial appeal to take legal action against Talal Hariri due to his support for the Zionist entity and his insult to the position of the highest religious authority, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani. The appeals highlight significant opposition to Hariri’s candidacy based on his controversial political stances.
