Baghdad:Defense Minister Nayef al-Shammari engaged in discussions with the German Chargé d’Affaires regarding the prospects for bilateral cooperation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Major General Yahya Rasool, the Ministry of Defense’s media spokesman, issued a statement confirming the meeting took place at the Ministry headquarters. The discussions included the presence of the military attaché, focusing on ways to enhance joint coordination between the two nations.

During the meeting, views on mutual interests were exchanged, and mechanisms to maintain ongoing communication to support work between Iraq and Germany were explored.
