Baghdad: A delegation appointed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, and supervised by the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayyad, visited the families of martyrs and wounded individuals who were killed or injured in the US-Saudi aggression that targeted several PMF headquarters in Nineveh Governorate on Sunday.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the PMF stated in a press release that, "Upon the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, and under the direct supervision of the head of the PMF, Faleh al-Fayyad, a delegation from the PMF and the Prime Minister's office, accompanied by the PMF's Nineveh Operations Commander, Khudair al-Matrouhi, visited the families of martyrs and wounded individuals who were killed or injured in the US-Saudi aggression that targeted several PMF headquarters in Nineveh Governorate."

The statement added that the delegation conveyed the condolences and sympathies of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces to the families of the martyrs, emphasizing that "their sacrifices will remain a source of pride and honor and that the state and the Popular Mobilization Forces are committed to supporting the families of the martyrs and standing by them."

"The delegation also visited the wounded, inquired about their health, wished them a speedy recovery, and affirmed the continued monitoring of their health conditions and the provision of all necessary support and care," according to the statement.

"The visit included the distribution of financial grants to the families of the martyrs and the wounded, in accordance with the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, as part of the ongoing commitment to supporting the families of the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifices in defense of Iraq and its sovereignty," the statement continued.
