Lahore: A delegation from the Al-Alawi Holy Shrine has arrived in Lahore, Pakistan, to initiate discussions and preparations for upcoming events dedicated to the International Week of the Two Truthful Ones. The events will commemorate the birth anniversaries of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his grandson, Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali announced that the official delegation’s visit aims to engage with local organizations involved in celebrating these significant religious occasions. Mazen al-Asadi, a representative of the shrine, explained that their itinerary includes visits to various religious, educational, and charitable institutions in Lahore. Among these is the Minhaj al-Hussein Foundation, known for its diverse programs in science, culture, charity, and religion.

The International Week of the Two Truthful Ones, now in its fifth year, features a range of gatherings, festivals, and cultural activities held across several Islamic countries, including Azerbaijan and Pakistan. These celebrations aim to honor important religious milestones while fostering cultural and intellectual exchanges with international institutions.
