Nineveh: A delegation appointed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, visited the families of martyrs and those wounded in the American-Saudi aggression in Nineveh. The visit was supervised by the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayyad, and targeted several PMF headquarters in Nineveh Governorate.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF stated in a press release that the delegation, accompanied by the PMF's Nineveh Operations Commander, Khudair al-Matrouhi, conveyed condolences and sympathies from both the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces. The visit aimed to honor the sacrifices of those affected and reiterated the commitment of the state and the PMF to support the families of the martyrs.
The statement emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs would remain a source of pride and honor for the country. It further noted that the delegation visited the wounded to inquire about their health conditions, wishing them a speedy recovery, and ensuring continuous monitoring of their health along with the provision of necessary support and care.
Additionally, the visit included the distribution of financial grants to the families of the martyrs and the wounded, reflecting the ongoing commitment to care for the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifices in defense of Iraq and its sovereignty.
