Basra: The Director General of the Iraqi Ports Company, Engineer Farhan Al-Fartousi, stated that their teams contributed to the rescue of 25 sailors after a foreign oil tanker was targeted. He noted that firefighting vessels and large tugboats are participating in controlling the fire.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Fartousi added that search and rescue operations are continuing at the site of the maritime incident.

Informed sources indicated that two foreign tankers were attacked in territorial waters, without providing further details.
