Baghdad: The Joint Operations Command has strongly condemned the repeated attacks on Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) headquarters, labeling these incidents as a blatant violation of national sovereignty and a direct attack on Iraq’s dignity. The Command expressed grave concern over the repeated assaults on the PMF, which are seen as undermining the efforts of those performing their national duties alongside other security forces.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Joint Operations Command emphasized that the continuation of these transgressions could lead to confusion, threaten social peace, and undermine security and stability. The Command warned that such actions provoke widespread resentment and anger among the Iraqi population, holding the aggressors responsible for any serious repercussions that may arise.
The Command’s statement highlighted recent attacks, including those at dawn in Kirkuk Governorate and the Akashat area, as well as previous assaults in the Suwaira district and other locations across the country. These attacks, the statement noted, represent a clear violation of national sovereignty and an affront to the dignity of Iraq. The Joint Operations Command underscored the professionalism and patriotism of the security forces, who continue to protect the nation and its security achievements.
