Baghdad: The director of the transport minister’s office and the flight operations officer were arrested in connection with the case of the return of the Iraqi Airways plane. Investigating Judge Diaa Jaafar of the Corruption Criminal Court ordered these arrests as part of the ongoing investigation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests are linked to the circumstances surrounding the return of an Iraqi Airways plane. The investigation is focused on uncovering any misconduct or corruption that may have occurred within the transportation ministry and its associated departments.
