Baghdad: Commander of the 1st Special Forces Division, Major General Ghalib Muhammad Kamar, received the French Military Attach© to Iraq and his accompanying delegation at the command headquarters. During the meeting, the division commander emphasized the depth of joint military cooperation between the two countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting also included discussions on ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Iraqi and French special forces in the areas of training and the exchange of expertise to build the capabilities of the Iraqi army and develop the special forces.
