Diwaniyah: The Diwaniyah Education Directorate has confirmed the nomination of land for the construction of new schools under the second tranche of the Chinese loan. The announcement was made by the Director General of Education in Diwaniyah, Ahmed Kharbat, following a meeting with key representatives.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director General of Education in Qadisiyah welcomed representatives from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Mohammed Al-Khalidi and Marwan Al-Hajimi. The meeting, also attended by the Technical Assistant Amer Al-Hasamouti, the Director of the Educational Planning Department Mohammed Abdul-Sattar, and the Director of the Specialized Supervision Department Qais Al-Hasamouti, focused on the allocation of land plots essential for implementing school projects funded by the Chinese loan.
Kharbat stated that the discussions centered on the mechanisms for land allocation and the procedures necessary to prepare suitable sites for school construction. The aim is to address the pressing need for school buildings in the region. He highlighted the Directorate’s commitment to ensuring that the projects funded by the second tranche of the Chinese loan meet the actual needs of the governorate, effectively reducing overcrowding in schools and providing a conducive educational environment for students.
