Diwaniyah: Dozens of residents from the University District in the center of Diwaniyah province staged a demonstration and blocked the main road to protest the poor electricity service.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the demonstrators demanded that the local and central governments, along with the Ministry of Electricity, increase the province's share of electricity and reduce power outages.
