Al-khalis: Diyala Governorate has decided to suspend work on establishing an administrative unit in Al-Khalis, Diyala. This decision pertains specifically to the halt in the establishment of the Jizani al-Jul sub-district within the Al-Khalis district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision to halt the project is based on a letter issued by the Ministry of Planning. This suspension comes amid ongoing evaluations and considerations by the relevant authorities regarding the establishment of new administrative units in the region.
