Baghdad: The Diyala government is actively engaging with the parliamentary committee on regions to discuss a series of vital issues impacting the province. In an effort to strengthen cooperation and coordination, a delegation from the Diyala Provincial Council, led by Deputy Chairman Salem al-Tamimi, met with members of the Committee on Regions and Non-Regionalized Provinces at the House of Representatives.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussion centered on expediting service projects, supporting reconstruction efforts, and overcoming challenges in implementing strategic projects. The Diyala Provincial Council emphasized that these initiatives are crucial for enhancing citizen services and advancing overall development within the province. Both parties underscored the importance of joint efforts to foster growth and improve living standards in Diyala.
