Baghdad: An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale has been reported 877 km north of Marsa Matruh, as announced by the National Seismic Network in Egypt.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National Institute for Astronomical Research stated that there were no reports of citizens feeling the tremor. The institute further clarified that there have been no reports of loss of life or property following the earthquake.
