Eight Thieves and Four Accused of Firing Bullets Arrested in Baghdad


Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced today the arrest of eight thieves and four individuals accused of firing bullets in Baghdad. This operation also included the execution of nine judicial arrest warrants and the seizure of various violations throughout the city.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were the result of diligent efforts by the Karkh Police, specifically the Baghdad Rescue Directorate. The coordinated operation led to the apprehension of eight thieves and four individuals accused of firing bullets. Additionally, authorities executed nine judicial arrest warrants, seized 13 wanted vehicles, confiscated five unlicensed weapons, detained six individuals accused of harassment, and captured a suspect involved in electronic blackmail.



The Ministry of Interior further stated that those arrested, along with the seized items, have been transferred to local police stations to proceed with the necessary legal actions as dictated by law.
