Baquba The joint security forces managed to end the danger of a hot spot that threatened the security of Khanaqin in Diyala Governorate.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that joint security forces, with the support of the Popular Mobilization, succeeded in ending the danger of Alwand River Zour, northeast of Baquba, which was a source of security threat to Khanaqin district and its villages due to the activity of ISIS terrorist cells and the exploitation of the complex geographical terrain to hide.

He added that the qualitative operations were enough to end the danger of Alwand River Zour and killing most of the ISIS terrorist leaders and terrorist cells. He stressed that a security plan has been prepared to monitor and track any suspicious cases in the area.
