Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared, “We will unite as Turks, Kurds, and Arabs and demolish the wall of terrorism built on the blood of our sons for 40 years,” during his speech at the eighth general conference of the “Justice and Development” Party.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan emphasized the importance of unity among Turks, Kurds, and Arabs to dismantle the “wall of terrorism.” He expressed optimism that terrorism and violence would soon come to an end in Turkey and the broader region. The President highlighted the necessity for Turkey to overcome its issues, particularly the persistent challenge of terrorism, amid the establishment of a new world order.

Erdogan underscored that the concept of “Turkey is free of terrorism” represents a broad national consensus, enjoying widespread support from the citizens. He firmly stated that no democratic nation should tolerate terrorism or its political manifestations masquerading as civil society entities.

He further remarked, “Terrorism and politics, terrorism and democracy cannot coexist at the same time.” Erdogan is hopeful that the elimination of terrorism will usher in a new era characterized by democracy, development, brotherhood, and regional integration.
