Basra: The delegation of Iran’s Esteghlal Tehran football club arrived in Basra province today in preparation for their match against Qatar’s Al Sadd club next Monday at Basra International Stadium, as part of the AFC Champions League.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the delegation held a preparatory meeting with relevant authorities in the province, including the head of the Basra branch of the Iraqi Football Association, Bader Nasser, and the province’s Director of Youth and Sports, Sadiq Al-Kinani. The discussions focused on coordinating arrangements for the upcoming match to ensure the delegation’s accommodation and the smooth running of the game.
