Baghdad: An explosion was heard in the Syrian city of Hama. The official Syrian news agency SANA confirmed on Sunday that an explosion was heard in the al-Madina neighborhood of Hama.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the agency added that work is underway to determine the nature of the explosion. Local sources said the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted near a church in the al-Madina neighborhood of Hama.
