Baghdad: First Speaker of Parliament Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi discussed local developments with the head of the National Coalition, Dr. Iyad Allawi. A statement by his media office indicated that Faihan visited Allawi’s guesthouse on Monday evening to check on his health and discuss the latest developments in the local political scene.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening dialogue and unifying visions among national forces on important issues, aiming to support stability and consolidate the constitutional process in the country. They also addressed the most important priorities and requirements of the current phase on various levels, particularly in security, economic, legislative, and political areas, which necessitate high-level coordination among national forces.

They pointed to the importance of complementary roles among the authorities to ensure that current developments are met with high efficiency. This approach aims to achieve sustainable stability that meets the aspirations of citizens, aligns with the requirements of the national reality, and safeguards the supreme interests of Iraq.
