Basra: Civil Defense teams rescued a family of five after a fire broke out in their home in Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Civil Defense Directorate stated in a press release: “A fire broke out inside a residential building, causing the family members to suffer from smoke inhalation. Rescue teams were able to evacuate them and transport them to the hospital.”

The statement added: “An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the fire, which resulted in material damage to the house.”
