Wasit: Farmers in Wasit Governorate took to the streets on Tuesday, blocking the Amarah-Baghdad road near the Sheikh Saad gas station. They used agricultural tractors to draw attention to the high price of kerosene and delays in receiving their payments.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the protesting farmers called on authorities to urgently address the rising fuel costs and expedite the disbursement of their overdue payments. They emphasized that the ongoing issues are increasing the financial burdens on them and adversely affecting the agricultural season.
