Baghdad: The Federal Police Command announced the arrest of 22 suspects under various legal provisions in the provinces of Baghdad and Babil.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were part of pre-emptive security operations directed by Federal Police Forces Commander Lieutenant General Mohammed Qasim Al-Fahad. These operations were conducted by Federal Police units in the mentioned regions and resulted in significant outcomes within their jurisdictions. The operations, carried out on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, led to the successful detainment of the suspects.
