Baghdad:Civil Defense teams successfully extinguished a fire that erupted inside a room on the second floor of Al-Andalus National Hospital, located in the Al-Saadoun Street area in central Baghdad, on Sunday evening.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the evacuation of more than 60 inmates and medical staff was conducted safely without any reported injuries.

Authorities are currently undertaking the necessary procedures to determine the cause of the fire.
