Baghdad: Video shows a fire breaking out in Al-Ansar market in Najaf; civil defense teams are working to extinguish it. The Najaf Civil Defense Directorate announced a fire in the Al-Ansar neighborhood market. Fire trucks immediately began extinguishing the blaze and preventing its spread.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Al-Ansar neighborhood and its market are among the oldest southern neighborhoods in Najaf, having been established in the 1980s. It is densely populated and home to many street vendors.
