Diyala: Fires broke out in several orchards on the outskirts of Al-Wajihiya district in the Diyala Governorate. A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) correspondent: “The fires broke out in orchards in the village of Snijeh, on the outskirts of Al-Wajihiya district, northeast of Baquba, the governorate’s capital. Civil defense teams were able to control the fires and prevent them from spreading to more orchards.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the source added, “The fires caused significant material losses, and the cause of the fires is unknown.”
