Baghdad: Five vehicles loaded with prohibited materials intended for smuggling were seized in Diyala. Diyala police units captured these vehicles, which were carrying goods that violated legal regulations and were intended for smuggling.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source revealed to their correspondent that the vehicles were intercepted on the Khanaqin-Qara Tapa road, located northeast of Baquba, the provincial capital. The source further stated that the vehicles and their cargo were impounded, and legal actions were initiated against the drivers. These drivers have been handed over to the relevant regulatory authorities for further processing.
