Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed, during a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart, Giorgos Gerapetritis, that Iraq is working to diversify its economy.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hussein emphasized the need for Greece’s expertise in the tourism sector, while also reiterating Iraq’s support for the American initiative to establish peace in Gaza.
The Greek Foreign Minister expressed his country’s support for Iraq and praised its security situation, highlighting Iraq as an important partner for Greece. Additionally, he announced the commencement of direct flights between Baghdad and Athens starting next December.
