Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein chaired the 13th meeting to follow up on preparations for the Arab Summit scheduled to be held in Baghdad on May 17, 2025.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the meeting reviewed security and media reports related to preparations for the summit. The discussions also covered administrative aspects and ceremonies associated with the event.
The meeting further delved into developmental, economic, and social issues, which are set to be the fundamental pillars of the agenda for the upcoming Arab Summit. The aim is to ensure comprehensive preparations and address key issues that will be discussed during the summit.
The strategic meeting was attended by several high-profile officials, including Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, Minister of Culture Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi.
