Baghdad:The Iraqi Football Association has announced the passing of former international referee and accredited Asian lecturer Raad Salim, who died early Thursday morning.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the association issued a statement expressing condolences. Younis Mahmoud, the president of the Iraqi Football Association, extended his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of Raad Salim. The statement conveyed wishes for Salim to be granted mercy and a place in paradise, along with patience and solace for his family and loved ones.
