Aleppo: Four civilians were killed and another injured when a landmine exploded in the village of Qart Wiran Kabir, located in the Al-Arimah district east of Aleppo. The incident was reported by the Syrian Civil Defense, which noted that the landmine was a remnant of the ongoing conflict in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, specialized teams from the Syrian Civil Defense promptly inspected the explosion site. They placed warning signs around the affected minefield to ensure the area is secured until the remnants could be safely removed.

Landmines and war remnants remain a significant threat to civilian life in Syria. These hidden dangers continue to cause injuries and fatalities, thereby obstructing reconstruction efforts and delaying the return of residents to their homes.
