– The French health authorities announced today, Thursday, the registration of 206,243 new infections with the Corona virus, while the Minister of Health warned of a “Corona tsunami” that may sweep the country.

Yesterday, Wednesday, Paris announced a record number of 208 thousand and 99 infections, as Health Minister Olivier Veran warned of the “Covid-19 tsunami”.

The highest number of infections was recorded at the beginning of this December, as it revealed less than 50,000 per day, while the daily data a month ago crossed the threshold of ten thousand infections for the first time since mid-September.

According to the estimates of the “World Meter” website, which tracks cases of infection and death with the virus around the world, France ranks sixth in the world with 9 million and 543,357 infections, and a total of more than 123 thousand deaths as a result of complications from the disease.
