Baghdad: The General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage has issued a statement addressing circulating reports regarding archaeologist Amer Abdul Razzaq, who has been associated with the Iraqi antiquities file in Kuwait. The State Board of Antiquities and Heritage aims to correct misleading and inaccurate information surrounding this issue.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Board emphasized that the current action involving Amer Abdul Razzaq is not an investigation but a questioning of his statements related to the antiquities file. The Board revealed that the file in question was officially transferred to the Recovery Department at the General Directorate of Museums.
