Tehran:Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf has issued a stern warning to the United States, highlighting the severe repercussions American society could face if Washington opts for a military approach against Iran.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ghalibaf expressed his views on the social media platform “X,” cautioning U.S. policymakers against the illusion that a military conflict with Iran would be beneficial. He outlined potential negative outcomes, including the collapse of financial markets, loss of military assets such as fighter jets, and economic challenges like mounting debt and soaring inflation. Additionally, he noted the increased risk of American casualties in such a conflict.

Ghalibaf’s statement underscored that these outcomes would have disastrous effects on American society, urging the U.S. to reconsider any decision toward military engagement. He emphasized that while the U.S. is not forced down this path, choosing it would mean accepting all associated consequences.
