Maysan: The Governor of Maysan, Habib Thahir Al-Fartousi, has inaugurated the second annual Dates Exhibition, an event designed to showcase the various types of dates produced within the province. The exhibition aims to highlight the diversity and quality of Maysan’s agricultural output.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the opening ceremony, Governor Al-Fartousi underscored the importance of supporting farmers and the development of date palm cultivation. The governor emphasized that such initiatives would lead to increased production and improved date quality, bolstering the market presence of Maysan’s dates.

Al-Fartousi also highlighted the local government’s ongoing support for the agricultural sector and its encouragement of efforts that foster the growth of this essential industry.
