Basra: The governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, has effectively addressed the financial crisis surrounding the Al-Minaa football team, ensuring the continuation of the team’s coaching leadership.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani, who also heads the interim administrative committee of Al-Minaa Club, has confirmed the resolution of the financial dues crisis affecting the team. The necessary funds have been secured through contributions from several contractors within the governorate, which are intended to settle the club’s financial matters with the Ports Company.

In a recent meeting with the team’s players and administrative committee members, Al-Eidani distributed the financial dues to the players and emphasized that the team would receive increased attention in the upcoming period. This support includes the provision of essential equipment, hotel accommodations for professional players, and the allocation of a plane to transport the team to Baghdad for their next match on Friday.

Al-Eidani also confirmed that the current coach would remain with the team, alongside newly added assistant staff, ensuring continuity in the coaching setup. This decision aligns with the interim administrative committee’s commitment to resolving outstanding issues, thereby providing both financial and administrative stability for Al-Minaa Club.

This strategic intervention is expected to bolster the team’s performance, support its players, and enhance the conditions necessary for achieving success in future competitions.
