Baghdad: The Governor of the Holy City of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, conducted a significant meeting with Hussein Al-Awadi, the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, at the Governorate building. This meeting saw the participation of an official delegation, which included the Undersecretary for Police Affairs and other senior officials, alongside the Karbala Police Chief, Major General Ahmed Zuwayni.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on the latest security developments and the implementation of emergency measures to ensure the safety and security of the Arba'een pilgrimage, which is currently at its peak. The meeting aimed to refine the security plans and protocols that are essential for managing the massive influx of pilgrims and maintaining order during this critical period.
The collaboration between the Governorate of Karbala and the Ministry of Interior underscores the importance of a coordinated approach to handle potential challenges and safeguard the well-being of the millions of pilgrims participating in the Arba'een pilgrimage.
