Karbala: The Governor of the Holy City of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, engaged in a significant meeting with Hindia Farah, Charg© d’Affaires of the German Embassy in Iraq, at the Governorate building. The German delegation accompanying Farah included the Embassy’s Political Secretary and the Advisor for Economic Cooperation and Development.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in pivotal sectors, primarily technology, where Germany’s expertise could significantly contribute to Karbala’s development. Both parties expressed interest in leveraging Germany’s technological advancements to bolster the city’s progress.

The dialogue also ventured into potential collaborations in the agricultural sector, alongside other areas, aiming to broaden cooperation frameworks. The meeting underscored the importance of exchanging expertise, aligning mutual interests, and fostering development across vital sectors within the governorate.
