Baghdad: The Governor of the Holy City of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, received a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Governorate building. The delegation was led by Special Representative Mohsen Qomi, representing the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was attended by several key figures, including the Police Chief, the Commander of the Middle Euphrates Operations of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Director of the Administrative Department of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Governor’s deputies, and senior officials of the Governorate. The delegation expressed its gratitude to the people of Holy Karbala, its local government, and all institutions for their involvement in the grand funeral procession for Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei. They acknowledged the sentiments and stances demonstrated by the people of Holy Karbala during the funeral.
