Manchester: Norwegian striker Erling Haaland continues to make history, adding four official Guinness World Records to his collection. The Manchester City striker received his new record certificates at the Etihad Stadium in recognition of his extraordinary footballing achievements.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, at just 26 years old, the Norwegian star has left an indelible mark on both English and European football. His first major record in England came during his debut season (2012-2023), when he scored 36 goals in 38 Premier League matches, surpassing the previous record held by Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who scored 32 goals in the 2017-2018 season. Haaland also broke the historic 34-goal mark set by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer when the league consisted of 42 rounds.

Haaland set a new record for the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals, achieving this feat on December 2, 2025, by scoring against Fulham after just 111 appearances for Manchester City.

Internationally, he holds another record as the all-time top scorer in the UEFA Nations League with 19 goals between 2020 and 2024, four more than his nearest rival. He also achieved the feat of scoring five goals in a single Champions League match on March 14, 2023, against RB Leipzig, equalling the record held jointly by Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano.
