Health Minister of Iraq Attends Conference on Arab Immigrant Health Competencies in Jordan

AMMAN: Health Minister Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi has arrived in Jordan to attend a significant conference focused on the contributions of Arab immigrant health professionals in enhancing health systems across Arab countries. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference, which marks the first of its kind, aims to explore the role of Arab health experts living abroad and how their expertise can be leveraged to support and improve healthcare services in their home countries. The event, hosted by Jordan, has attracted participation from several Arab Health Ministers, highlighting the importance of collaboration in the health sector across the region. Jordanian Health Minister Firas Al-Hawari formally welcomed Al-Hasnawi upon his arrival. The conference is expected to provide a platform for discussions on strategic partnerships and initiatives that can bolster health systems in Arab nations by utilizing the skills and knowledge of Arab health professionals residing internationally.
