Hezbollah Denies Allegations of Activity Within Syrian Borders

Beirut: Hezbollah has firmly denied allegations of any activity within Syrian territory, asserting that such claims are both fabricated and baseless. The group has emphasized that these assertions are aimed at tarnishing its reputation and aligning with what it describes as a Zionist-American agenda.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah issued a statement highlighting that the reports of its alleged presence and activities in Syria are part of a broader campaign to undermine the group's standing. The organization's statement reads: "The claims of our activity within Syrian territory aim to harm us and serve the Zionist-American agenda."

The denial comes in the wake of an announcement by the Syrian Interior Ministry, which reported the thwarting of a smuggling operation. The operation involved a vehicle carrying weapons and equipment across the Iraqi-Syrian border, purportedly intended for delivery to Hezbollah. Despite these allegations, Hezbollah maintains that it has no involvement in any such activities within Syria.
