Baghdad: The High Commission for Human Rights has underscored the critical role of consolidating social solidarity values, highlighting its significance on the occasion of the International Day of Charity, observed annually on September 5th. The Commission acknowledged the contributions of volunteer teams, humanitarian organizations, and initiators in aiding vulnerable groups.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commission reiterated its dedication to its national mission by offering a variety of essential services and tasks to citizens. These tasks include receiving complaints, addressing violation cases to ensure justice, conducting field visits to support human rights standards, undertaking volunteer and charitable activities across governorates, providing legal advice, and strengthening partnerships with civil society organizations. These efforts aim to ensure a free and dignified life for all.

The Commission affirmed its steadfast commitment to working alongside national efforts to consolidate social justice and achieve sustainable development.
