Kirkuk: A high-level meeting was held at the Operations Command headquarters, bringing together senior security leaders in Kirkuk Governorate. During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the security plans implemented in the city center and its districts and sub-districts was conducted.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attendees focused on ways to improve the security system by activating proactive intelligence efforts and intensifying field coordination between army and police units and intelligence agencies to ensure that gaps are closed and opportunities are denied to terrorist and criminal elements.

The leaders emphasized that “security and services” are two sides of the same coin, stressing the need to provide a safe and stable environment that allows service departments to perform their duties and meet citizens’ needs smoothly. The importance of treating residents with respect and strengthening trust between citizens and security personnel was emphasized, as citizens are essential partners in maintaining stability.

The attendees stressed the necessity of Kirkuk remaining a city of brotherhood and coexistence thanks to the unity of its various security forces and their constant vigilance in protecting lives and property.
