Atiyah: A gradual decrease in humidity is expected in southern Iraq starting Tuesday, with winds shifting to northwesterly. Meteorologist Sadiq Attiya revealed that southern cities and parts of central Iraq will continue to experience high surface humidity and very hot weather on Monday, August 10, with winds remaining calm and occasionally southeasterly.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Attiya explained on his Facebook page that the winds will begin to gradually shift from westerly to northwesterly starting Tuesday, August 11, with occasional gusts expected. He noted that the stabilization of northwesterly winds during the evening hours will contribute to a more noticeable decrease in surface humidity.

He further added that the weather will become less humid compared to current days, predicting continued improvement on Wednesday, Thursday, and beyond, coinciding with the continued influence of northwesterly wind.
