Ankara: A recent poll has revealed a shift in the Turkish political landscape, with the newly formed New Party outpacing the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the event of early parliamentary elections. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the SONAR Research Institute conducted the poll, which showed the New Party, led by Özgr Özel and established only two weeks ago, receiving 24.1% of the votes before accounting for undecided voters. This figure increased to 34.3% after the distribution of undecided votes, as reported by the Turkish network Sözc TV. In the same poll, the AKP secured the second position with 30.2% of the votes. It was followed by the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEVA), which obtained 8.5%, and the Good Party (IYI), with 7%. The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and the Republican People's Party (CHP) were closely ranked, with MHP receiving 5.1% and CHP garnering 5% of the total votes. The Key Party (MKP) and the Victory Party were further down the list, with 2.6% and 2.3% of the votes, respectively. The poll results highlighted the current ranking of Turkish political parties as: the New Party, Justice and Development Party, Equality and Democracy Party, Good Party, Nationalist Movement Party, Republican People's Party, Key Party, and the Victory Party.
